Oldie but goodie flick I took of my homie Depoe One in action on a mural 20 feet up…
Depoe… on a ladder, on scaffolding, on cynder blocks, on a picnic table. Brooklyn, 2009 FTW!
And speaking of Depoe, if you’re in NYC today check out my homie Depoe’s show opening today…

“G”
pen, marker, and colored pencil on G train schedule
2009
In case you dont know about the G train, here’s a few facts..
- The G is the Brooklyn–Queens Crosstown subway, running from 71st Avenue (Queens) to Smith–Ninth Streets (Brooklyn).
- It’s the only train that doesn’t enter Manhattan. Very useful sometimes, but… If you live on the G (like in Greenpoint) just a few miles from the LES or Chinatown, you gotta take THREE trains to get there.
- The G train is notorious for taking forever. 20 minutes at night (according to the schedule), but that might soon change to 30 minutes due to the budget crisis.
- When I asked the MTA guy for the schedule, he said “Maaaybe I can find you one back here, but I don’t know why you want one.. it’s like science-fiction”. He didn’t know that it’s best use is for drawing paper.
